Microgaming is an award-winning online gaming software supplier and is recognized as one of the leading distributors in the industry. The first true online casino software was developed in 1994 by Microgaming and the first mobile casino software in 2004, which again proves their seniority on the market. Their products consist of Video slots, Poker, Bingo, Sportsbook, Land-based, Live Dealer and Quickfire, and they are home to some of the most popular slot games in the world with well-knows names such as Avalon and Thunderstruck. Their branded blockbuster games such as Game of Thrones and Jurassic World is also a big hit with online casino players worldwide.

The company is situated on Isle of Man in their new headquarter called Sixty Two, which was built in 2017.

    Plenty of huge Jackpots

In May 2009, Microgaming announced the biggest ever online casino jackpot with the winner taking away $6,374,434. In 2015 they broke this record by recording the biggest ever Jackpot of €17,879,645.12! They have, however, already broken this record once more with a huge Jackpot of €18,915,872.81 ticking in for one very lucky player. All of the big Jackpots was carried out on their immensely popular and successful game Mega Moolah.

To date, Microgaming’s progressive Jackpot network has paid out more than €948 million in total and this number makes them the largest jackpot network in the industry.

Microgaming is not all about paying out huge winnings, they also genuinely care about their players and the online casino world. They are the founding members of ECOGRA (e-Commerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance) and they set the standard in fair, responsible gaming.

    Quickfire

Micrograming’s Quickfire department was developed as a way of distributing their games to even more casinos. Instead of having a license to their full Viper platform, smaller casinos can now offer an array of games to their customers, including slots, table games, video poker and much more, without signing up for the full portfolio. The Quickfire department supports over 400 games and is currently made available to over 100 operators.

This includes the largest online progressive jackpot networks where new games are released on a regular basis. However, apart from online casinos, there are third party casino platform providers that have integrated with Microgaming’s Quickfire. This includes Everymatrix, Tain, ProgressPlay, Softswiss, and many more.

    PlayItForward

Microgaming PlayItForward is a community-driven initiative. They primarily focus on the health and fair play to enhance the sport even further. The initiative was launched in 2014 by Microgaming.

They have since helped thousands upon thousands of people through charity projects and different events. They are the founders behind Microgaming Community Games and Wellness. The community games are aimed at young people aged 11-18 that have not yet found the sport they love. Microgaming promotes different sports and makes them available for the children.
