Kindred Group comes to Pennsylvania with Unibet

Kindred Group have announced their move into the Pennsylvania betting market. They will be competing with other established US brands in the state with their already well known Unibet brand.

In a report from a Pennsylvania betting website it was claimed that Unibet had already gone live for a testing phase. This is expected to last two days and as long as the site passes all of the tests then it should receive clearance from the PGCB to start operating on a full-time basis as soon as the trial period has finished.

    Advanced testing

This new Unibet site is joining four other casino sites and six other sportsbooks. This will see Pennsylvania become one of the most well stocked US states when it comes to offering customers a choice for betting. The new Unibet site is expected to use technology from Kambi Group to offer its sportsbook facilities.

A deal with a tribal family

This new deal for the Kindred Group will see Unibet signing a partnership with a tribal casino within the state. This will be the Mohegan Tribe. Because Kindred Group already offer their services for the brick and mortar sportsbook at the tribe’s land based casino, the new deal made sense to both parties. It will see Unibet get legislation through the tribe activities. The head of marketing for the Kindred Group said that they expect the Pennsylvania market to offer them a good revenue stream due to the market being of a similar size to New Jersey, which is already showing good numbers.
